Their duck egg roll is great and I also really like the hot pot. This place is definitely underrated. Dare ya to try something new and you won't be disappointed.

Place was ok, my boyfriend and I would never choose to come back here. We were in downtown SB for the day and I had been craving dumplings for a while. We saw this place was literally all about dumplings, so we went. Upon walking in, the ambiance was definitely... interesting. My utensils weren't clean and the water was kind of funky. Anyways, we ordered chili wontons, duck ramen, miso soup, and an order of beef dumplings. Nothing stood out and the food that was served was not what we expected. For started, the chili "wontons" were not even wontons. Instead they were fat dumplings with a mysterious filling and numbing chili oil. Beef wontons were small and slippery, not the best flavor. The soups were definitely the winners of this meal. Miso soup was good and my boyfriend liked his duck ramen enough. We have had better for sure.
The best thing about this restaurant was definitely the service. The workers were really nice and attentive. They came around many times to ask if we need refills, check in on us, and even give us some chili oil. It makes me sad to give such a low review but the food just wasn't cutting it. If the menu and items served up were better, a better review would be produced.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Daniel G.Santa Barbara, CA0121Feb 24, 2024
Food: Hot pot was done well but lacked veggie options and the 'real menu' was hand written on a paper that listed the limited options they had available that day.
Service: Poor, Our server was either very new or completely oblivious to checking on drinks and cleaning plates of the table. Probably didn't help that I could see management on their phones in the back yelling at this kid struggling.
Ambience: Cold.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Mar 12, 2024
Horrible food -- pretty bummed we wasted one meal on our short Santa Barbara trip on this place, tbh. The server was friendly but that was about it. The tap water tasted gross and smelled like bleach. The food was bland... I come from Palm Springs where Asian food is already pretty bad but this topped it. Definitely trust the 1-2 star reviews of this place because they are no exaggeration!

Really wanted this place to be good but what a disappointment. We ordered 4 items, chili wontons, crispy duck, ribeye ramen, and bbq pork beef rolls. They brought out the chili wontons first and they were cold. Next they brought out the "crispy" duck - nothing crispy about it. The meat was rubbery, cold, and tasted like it just came out of the microwave. I hate sending food back so we let the server know the food was cold, to which he replied with a "shrug - sorry". Didn't do anything to fix it. We cancelled the other 2 items we ordered, paid $25 for the rubber duck and cold wontons, left it all on the table and left. Bad service, worse food. 0/10 would not recommend.

They need to be a little bit better about making sure all of their instruments and glassware is thoroughly clean. That being said, they're dumplings and dim sum are amazing and we do enjoy them very much. Service is very fast and very friendly. I do recommend not tossing the tempura shrimp in Dynamite sauce as it gets soggy. Any sauce should be as a dipping sauce on the side.

The service was good. Our server was nice and attentive. We sat outside which was nice on a beautiful day. We ordered spicy miso ramen, sushi roll, and teriyaki chicken with rice.
The food was okay. Wasn't awful and wasn't amazing.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Vannary S.Garden Grove, CA45231Nov 5, 2023
It's ok. Was craving sushi and the eel did not disappoint. We end up ordering a bunch of dim sum and I wished we stuck to sushi instead. Some items taste great and some was questionable. Definitely, it's a place I will only come for sushi.
